About Us

Dr. Lily Sammak

Lily was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Toronto as an adult after finishing her M.Sc. in Genetics. After some time working at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, she decided to move to Saskatoon to begin her Dental education at the University of Saskatchewan.

Lily is a loving wife and dedicated mother. Though she has enjoyed living in various places (such as the Middle East, Europe, and Canada), she derives true  happiness from taking care of her young son and spending time with her family. Lily is as likely to be found swimming, going for long walks, or doing yoga as she is relaxing over coffee and fine pasties with close friends.

Through her years of dedicated dental practice, Lily has come to find enjoyment in pediatric dentistry, esthetic dentistry, and oral surgery. In particular, however, she loves developing life-long relationships with patients and the inevitable friendships that develop.

Dr. James Dessouki

Originally from Ottawa, James moved to Saskatchewan as a child. He attended Holy Cross High School before carrying on to the University of Saskatchewan. At UofS, James earned a Bachelor of Science (Biology) and an Advanced Certificate (Anatomy). James then fulfilled a long-time dream by enrolling in, and completing, the dental program at the University of Saskatchewan.

As a valuable member of the dental community, James has been a Clinical Instructor at the UofS College of Dentistry since 2004, a facilitator in the Prairie Posthodontics Study Club, and a former member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Though skilled in all dental disciplines, James prefers to focus his attention on the particular fields of oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry.

James has always been a fan of sports. He, himself, is a longtime soccer player. James has found a way to combine his love of family (he has two boys) and love of soccer: he coaches kids soccer teams. He anticipates continuing to be an active part of the Saskatoon community life for many years to come.

Dr. Grishma Kapadia

With an abiding love for the prairies, Grishma is proud to call Saskatchewan home: she was born and raised in Regina. While a high school student at Regina’s Campbell Collegiate, Grishma’s interest in the Health Sciences blossomed; later, she moved to Saskatoon to study Dentisty at the University of Saskatchewan.

After a brief professional stint in Winnipeg, Grishma returned to Saskatoon to practice Dentistry and raise a family. Happily, she and her husband are expecting their first child.

In her spare time, Grishma enjoys relaxing with a book, picking up a paint brush, and traveling. Grishma loves the personal interactions with her patients and enjoys practicing all areas of General Dentistry.
